For many, the tours best part is a visit to Beamish Museum, a truly amazing open-air museum in North East England that brings history to life. You can see how people lived back in the 1820s and 1950s, with buildings that are made to look like they were from then, vehicles that are still in use and interpreters dressed up to show you what it was like. Its a really fun and immersive experience for everyone, no matter how old they are. We made a quick stop along the way to snap a photo of the Angel of the North! The Angel of the North is a truly remarkable contemporary sculpture by Antony Gormley, found in Gateshead, England. Its famous for its huge sizestanding at 20 metres tall and with a wingspan of 54 metresand its striking presence near the A1 motorway. This sculpture represents the North Easts industrial history and its bright future, and its one of the most popular artworks in the world. Its made from Cor-Ten steel, which gives it a beautiful rusty patina over time.

Its now come to that part of the tour, time to go home.. Once you have said your farewells to the hotel staff, you rejoin the coach and make your way homeward. The driver will try and keep you inform of arrival time, but traffic delays can sometime alter the travel time.
