Weston-super-Mare is a popular Victorian seaside resort in Somerset, England, situated along the Bristol Channel approximately 20 milessouthwest of Bristol. Renowned for its nearly two-mile-long sandy beach, flat promenade and the indoor amusements on The Grand Pier, itattracts visitors for classic coastal day trips and family getaways.

Burnham-on-Sea is a picturesque seaside town in Somerset, located a mile and a half from the M5 J22. It is an ideal destination forvisitors to explore the many wonders of Somerset. With a mile and a half of flat esplanade offering views of the sea and spectacularsunsets, it is a place to stroll and discover its independent shops.

Cheddar Gorge is a limestone gorge in the Mendip Hills, near the village of Cheddar, Somerset, England. The gorge is home to theCheddar show caves, where Great Britain’s oldest complete human skeleton, Cheddar Man, was discovered in 1903.

Wells is perhaps best known for its Cathedral, a defining feature of the city. This is undoubtedly a major tourist attraction but Wells offersmuch more than this beautiful building. Situated in the Mendips in Somerset, it provides a charming day out rich in heritage and tradition.Visitors can enjoy one of its many tea rooms or country pubs or visit the Wells and Mendip Museum. The city also boasts a selection ofindependent shops and art galleries.

Street is Somerset’s largest village.Situated at the end of the Polden Hills with views of Glastonbury Tor and the Mendip Hills, Street is ideally positioned to explore thesurrounding countryside while enjoying the village’s sites and facilities.Street is the birthplace of Clarks shoes, whose story began almost 200 years ago when brothers Cyrus and James Clark began makingslippers from sheepskin offcuts. Clarks grew into an international company renowned for quality and innovation. Although the factory haslong since closed, Street remains home to Clarks HQ and many of the surrounding buildings and terraces constructed for the workers, suchas Wilfrid Road, are themselves attractions for their architectural qualities.Street also has several churches, the oldest being the Grade I listed Anglican Parish Church of The Holy Trinity, dating from the 14thcentury.On the site of the former Clarks factory stands Clarks Village, Somerset’s premier tourist attraction and the UK’s first purpose-built factoryoutlet.

The Sandringham Hotel joined the Daish family in 2024. Situated on Weston-super-Mare’s seafront with stunning views from the restaurantand some bedrooms overlooking the pier and beach, it offers easy access to the town centre and shops via the Sovereign ShoppingCentre. The town centre features a wide selection of shops, bars and restaurants.While the hotel provides a warm welcome and thoughtful service throughout your stay, please be aware of the following:The hotel’s bar has limited capacity.

Access to the bar is via five steps down (including a turn) and the dining room requires either eight steps up from reception or five stepsdown from the lift on the first floor. Additionally, many rooms have a small number of steps from the lift, making the hotel unsuitable forthose with significant walking or mobility issues.

2024 see's the Sandringham Hotel become the latest hotel to join the Daish's family. The hotel sits in a prime spot on Weston-super-Mare's sea front with stunning sea views from the restaurant and some bedrooms of the pier and beach.

There is easy access to the town centre and shops through the Sovereign Shopping centre which is just behind the hotel. The town centre offers a great selection of shops, bars and restaurants.

Whilst you can be assured of the usual Daish’s warm welcome on your arrival and thought your stay, we would like to make you aware of the following before you book.

While the hotel operates live nightly entertainment, you should be aware that there is limited space in the bar.

While access into the hotel is flat from the street, entry to the bar is via 5 steps down (including a turn) and access to the dining room involves either eight steps up from reception or 5 steps down from the lift on the first floor. In addition, a significant number of rooms involve a small number of steps from the lift, therefore the hotel is not really suitable for those with significant walking or mobility issues.

We are currently working on exciting plans for the Sandringham to improve and expand the hotel in a number of areas. Until then, holidays planned for this year are priced accordingly and will enable our loyal customers an early opportunity to visit our newest hotel. With its prime seafront location at this popular resort we’re sure it will become a firm favourite.
