Museum of the Great Western Railway is housed in a beautifully restored Grade II railway building in the heart

of the former Swindon railway works. Situated right opposite the Swindon Designer Outlet, the museum tells

the story of the men and women who built, operated and travelled on the Great Western Railway, often referred

to by historians and railway fans as ‘God’s Wonderful Railway’. The pioneering vision and engineering genius of

Isambard Kingdom Brunel led to the Great Western Railway network becoming regarded as the most

advanced in the world.

Visit our Butterfly House in Wiltshire rain or shine. You can walk among some of the most beautiful butterflies in

the world, flying freely against a backdrop of tropical plants and skimming over fish filled ponds. Hunt the

caterpillars and watch the butterflies hatch from the pupa - and if you're lucky one will land on you!

There's more than just Butterflies at Butterfly World - Squirrels, meerkats, Rigby the raccoon, wallabies,

terrapins, a Sulcata tortoise and a reptile house! All part of our zoo area that leads from Butterfly World to our

Farm Park.
