Travel to the Hotel, Asford Internation, 4 Nights stay Breakfast, 3 Course Evening Meal.

Day Two,

Historic Dockyard Chatham and ‘Call the Midwife’ tour

Today we head for the Historic Dockyard Chatham, an 80-acre site that was home to Britain’s naval ship building industry. During your visit you’ll discover how ships, including Nelson’s flagship ‘HMS Victory’, were designed and built and you’ll be able to climb aboard a destroyer and a submarine. The highlight of the visit will be the ‘Call the Midwife’ tour that reveals what it was like to be an extra on the set of the popular BBC series, and how the Dockyard was transformed into a scene from the 1950s.

Day Three,

Margate, Dreamland and Canterbury

This morning we visit the traditional seaside town of Margate and the ‘Old Town’, with its many vintage shops. Call in at the free-to-enter Dreamland and take a ride on the stylishly restored, recreated and retro-fitted rides and amusements from the golden age of British seaside holidays. In the afternoon, we travel to Canterbury where you can visit the magnificent cathedral and explore the picturesque streets.

Day Four,

Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway and Hythe

Another treat today with a return journey on the diminutive narrow gauge Romney, Hythe and Dymchurch Railway that runs for 14 miles between Hythe and Dungeness. A free afternoon in the historic cinque port of Hythe gives you chance to explore this fascinating old town.

Day Five,

Homeward journey.
