Swanage Railway

Located in the Isle of Purbeck, the rebuilt Swanage Railway is the perfect place to enjoy a great family day out on Dorset’s Jurassic Coast.

The heritage railway attraction operates full-size steam and diesel passenger trains along the five and a half miles of line from Norden to Corfe Castle and down to the Victorian seaside town of Swanage.

The line has stations at Corfe Castle and Harman’s Cross as well as a halt at Herston, on the outskirts of Swanage. There are refreshment buffets at Norden and Swanage stations with picnic tables at most of the stations so you can soak up the atmosphere while enjoying a picnic.

Swanage is a coastal town and civil parish in the south east of Dorset, England. It is at the eastern end of the Isle of Purbeck and one of its two towns

West Bay - the place where Broadchurch was filmed.

West Bay, originally known as Bridport Harbour, is a small harbour settlement and resort on the English Channel coast in Dorset, England, sited at the mouth of the River Brit approximately 1.5 miles south of Bridport. The area is part of the Jurassic Coast, a World Heritage Site

Day at Leisure - Weymouth

Blue Flag winning Weymouth Beach is consistently recognised as one of the top ten beach destinations in Europe and it's easy to see why. So why not grab your towel, a good book and head to Weymouth.

With beautiful golden sands sprinkled with deckchairs, safe shallow waters, an action packed events programme and pretty harbourside, you certainly won’t be disappointed.

The world was introduced to the Georgian grandeur of Weymouth during the London 2012 Olympic and Paralympic Games.  Weymouth’s fine seafront provided an impressive backdrop to the sailing events and captured the hearts of many!
