Porthcawl lies on a beautiful stretch of coast with sandy beaches and rocky cliffs, yet is only a short drive from the fascinating cities of Cardiff and Swansea. It is famous for its many golf courses including the world famous Royal Porthcawl. A rocky promontory with spectacular sea views separates the golf course from the main part of the town including the harbour and the expansive sandy beach to the east behind which lies a fairground with a variety of rides and amusements. There is an attractive high street with numerous shops and the fascinating Grand Pavilion offers theatre and a pleasant bar. There is good bathing from several beaches and the Atlantic swell ensures there is often excellent surfing.

The Royal Mint Experience is one of the best-rated TripAdvisor attractions in South Wales and an award-winning destination for groups. Whether you choose to visit us as part of a social event, a special occasion, or as a cultural and historical trip, we cater for groups of all sizes to ensure your experience is a memorable one.

Cardiff is the capital and largest city of Wales. It's known for its castle, vibrant waterfront, and cultural attractions. The city has a rich history, including its past as a major coal port, and has evolved into a modern hub for tourism, education, and business.
