With plenty to see and do there is something for everyone; Visit Scarborough Castle or Peaseholme park, with its Japanese gardens and boating lake, take a ride on the North Bay railway or on one of the many local boats, from which you can enjoy panoramic views of the resort. Just a short drive away you will find the historic and vibrant Roman city of York, the whaling port of Whitby and the North Yorkshire Moors railway.
