Set in five acres of parkland in the Scottish Borders, the hotel offers the perfect base to explore its incredible surroundings. Day One - Travel Day - Monday 1st February 2027
We welcome you on board the coach, before setting off towards your holiday destination. The driver will keep you informed on comfort stops and any places that maybe possible to visit on route.
Arrival at the you will be checked in and receive your room keys and any meal times (if included), please enjoy your stay.

Berwick-upon-Tweed is a historic, coastal town in Northumberland, England, located just 2.5 miles south of the Scottish border. Famous for its turbulent past, the town changed hands between England and Scotland 13 times. It is renowned for its intact Elizabethan walls, three iconic bridges, sandy beaches, and vibrant culture.
Jedburgh is a town and former royal burgh in the Scottish Borders and the traditional county town of the historic county of Roxburghshire

Day Three - Edinburgh - Wednesday 3rd February 2027
Today we visit - Edinburgh
Edinburgh is Scotland's compact, hilly capital. It has a medieval Old Town and elegant Georgian New Town with gardens and neoclassical buildings. Looming over the city is Edinburgh Castle, home to Scotlands crown jewels and the Stone of Destiny, used in the coronation of Scottish rulers. Arthurs Seat is an imposing peak in Holyrood Park with sweeping views, and Calton Hill is topped with monuments and memorials.

Day Four - Day at Leisure (Maybe Optional Coach Excursion) - Thursday 4th February 2027
The Waverly Castle Hotel is located just 1.4 miles from Melrose, near to Eildon Hills, halfway between the Northumberland National Park and Edinburgh a perfect place to enjoy the transition from England to Scotland and take in the breathtaking Borders scenery and hospitality.
Theres plenty to explore in the area, from charming local towns and villages to historic houses, castles and abbeys plus whisky tours and distilleries, gardens, and outdoor activities such as climbing, walking, cycling, fishing, bird-watching and golf.
The picturesque town of Melrose is located next to the River Tweed at foot of the triple peaks of the Eildon Hills; a distinctive landmark of the Scottish Borders. The area around Melrose is thought to have been inhabited for thousands of years with the Romans arriving in AD79 or 80 and building a fort nearby named Trimontium; 'Place of the Three Hills. The Three Hills Roman Heritage Centre houses the Trimontium Museum which is dedicated to Roman life in Scotland.
Guests can enjoy wonderful views of the surrounding area, with plenty of opportunities for walks in the gardens and down to the River Tweed where there are walks along the river. Waverley Castle Hotel is the ideal place to unwind, rejuvenate and explore a historic and fascinating area of Scotland.

Final Day - Home Time - Friday 5th February 2027
Its now come to that part of the tour, time to go home.. Once you have said your farewells to the hotel staff, you rejoin the coach and make your way homeward. The driver will try and keep you inform of arrival time, but traffic delays can sometime alter the travel time.
